Attention of all the importers, customs brokers and other stake holders are invited towards utilization of Helpdesk for Tax Payer s Services set up in New Custom House, Air Cargo Complex, Meenambakkam, Chennai-600027. Mr. Ram Kumar, Appraising Officer is the Nodal Officer for the said Helpdesk. 2. In case of any query related to tax liability or any difficulty in filing of Bills of Entry/Shipping Bills, the trade may approach Sevottam Helpdesk located at Ground Floor of New Custom House, Meenambakkam, Chennai-600027. The officer available at the Sevottam Helpdesk will guide them to reach the cabin of the Nodal Officer Mr. Ram Kumar, Appraiser, located at 2nd Floor of the building (Appraising Main Section) for further guidance. The officer can be reached on phone number 044-2256610 or email id [email protected]. 3. However, trade is advised to visit CBEC website and Chennai VII Commissionerate website www.aircustornschennai.gov.in to know the recent changes made in Bill of Entry/Shipping Bill formats, state codes and other related information before approaching the helpdesk. 4.
