No. S.Misc.01/2017-ED1 (ACC) Date: 22.09.2017 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 20/2017 Sub: Remedy of certain deficiencies for smooth processing of IGST Export Refunds -Instructions - Reg. Attention of Exporters, Custom Brokers, Trade Airlines is invited towards smooth processing of IGST Exports Refunds effective from 1 st October 2017. The Shipping Bill is the refund application from 15t July, 2017 and hence, no separate refund application shall be filed. 2. It is noticed that closed bank accounts of the exporters still exist in the systems. PFMS has invalidated such accounts. Hence, disbursal of IGST refund to such closed accounts is impossible. 3. Trade may ensure that their Bank accounts are not inoperative. Further they may approach Asst./Dy. Commissioner, Export Assessment, who will confirm that the exporter's Bank account is operative or not, after viewing in ICES database. Asst./Dy. Commissioner, Export Assessment will be the disbursal officer for sanctioning of IGST Refunds. 4. The Trade is therefore advised to take note of the above and update the bank accounts now and not to make any changes in the current financial year. 5. Airlines are directed to file EGMs without errors within the stipulated time, not to resort to frequent amendments of EGM. 6.
