I am directed to refer to the correspondence resting with Ministry's letter F. No. 473/157/74-Cus. VII, dated 23rd April, 1975 (copy enclosed for ready reference) (Not printed) wherein instructions were issued that a quarterly statement of those cases where the requirement of physical warehousing is waived by the Assistant Collector may be sent to the Ministry for post-facto approval. It is reiterated that all the Collectors may please send their statements regularly.
