Launch of webpage to receive issues related to registration and migration, launch of "@puducherrygst" Telegram Channel, and google groups - GST - TRADE NOTICE NO. 03/2017

Dated: 30-06-2017 TRADE NOTICE NO. 03/2017 Sub: Launch of webpage to receive issues related to registration and migration, launch of @puducherrygst Telegram Channel, and google groups Reg. 2. This office has created a new webpage under the http://www.pondycentralexcise.gov.in/ website to receive issues related to registration and migration. New and existing Tax payers can use this page to register their issues faced during GST registration and migration. GST Seva Kendra officers located in Range offices' buildings or Division offices' building will assist the tax payer in resolving his issue. 3. This office has also launched @puducherrygst Telegram Channel to disseminate authentic information and assist tax payers and general public as well common citizens on GST, Central Excise and also inform media in Puducherry U. T. Telegram is a social media application working on both computers and Smartphone. Through internet connected computer, Telegram can work without the need of a Smartphone. It has various social media communication option including that of a Telegram Channel . For individuals who don't have Smartphone, they can register their mobile number at t.me\puducherrygst and for individuals with Smartphone they can download Telegram App from Google Playstore, iTunes etc and get registered by searching for @puducherrygst . 4. Further this office has also created an email group under google groups at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/puducherrygst, taxpayers can join this emailing group to receive emails. 5. Through google group and Telegram Channel this office will be sending various Trade notices, Notifications, Circulars, other information, guidance with respect to GST or on Central Excise related matter. 6.
