No. IV/ 16/ 22 /2014-Tech Date: 22.12.2014 Trade Facility: No. 02/2014 Sub:- Check list for execution of B-1 Bond (security) / LUT by the manufacturers - Regarding. As trade facilitation measure a check list for the execution B-1 bond (Security)/ LUT for manufacturer is prescribed. The Check list and the relevant documents may be submitted to the Assistant / Deputy Commissioner having jurisdiction over the factory for acceptance of the same. The Jurisdictional Assistant / Deputy Commissioner may generally accept the Bond (Security)/ LUT submitted by the manufacturer along with prescribed relevant documents. However, the Jurisdictional Assistant / Deputy Commissioner may call for additional information, if necessary. Check list of B-l Bond: General Bond with Surety/ Security for removal of excisable goods without payment of duty for export 1. the B-1 Bond is to be executed on ₹ 100/- Non judicial stamp paper; 2. the B-1 bond is to be submitted in the prescribed Annexure- 10 of CBEC Manual. 3. All the pages of the Bond shall be signed by the authorized signatory or the person clearly mentioning the name of the person who executes the Bond along with the name of the company . 4. Computation sheet showing reasons for execution of B-1 Bond, expected exports during the Financial and value of Bond required. The Bond amount should be sufficient to cover the duty liability. 5. Bank guarantee / Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) for an amount of 25% of Bond value to be furnished along B-l Bond (Security), unless exempted 6. the Bank guarantee / FDR executed to be valid for two years with auto renewal facility. 7. the Bank guarantee / FDR to be executed in favour of President of India to be executed by the Bond Accepting Authority i.e Jurisdictional Asst./ Deputy Commissioner or the Asst./ Deputy Commissioner, Hqrs. Office. 8. In case, the assessee is exempt from furnishing cash security/ Bank guarantee m terms of Board's circulars No. 284/ 118/96-CX dt. 31.12.96 711/27/2003-cx cit. 30.04.2003, prescribed Certificate such as RCMC / Super Star Trading House / Star Trading House issued by the proper authority to be enclosed. 9. Copy of Central Excise Registration Certificate is to be enclosed. 10. Copy of the Import Export Code issued by DGFVT is to be enclosed. 11. Copy of VAT Registration (TIN No. / CST No.) is to be enclosed. 12. Copy of the Board's resolution of the exporter designating the Authorized signatory to sign on the relevant documents. 13. Copy of identity proofs of authorized signatory (Self attested) Check list of Letter of undertaking : Letter of undertaking for removal of excisable goods without payment of duty for export 1. the Letter of undertaking (LUT) to be executed on ₹ 100/- Non- judicial paper by the manufacturer exporters only. 2. Letter of undertaking to be submitted in the prescribed format i.e in Annexure-15 of CBEC Manual. 3. All the documents shall be signed by the authorized signatory clearly mentioning the name of the person who executes Letter of Undertaking along with the name of the company. 4. The details of exports made under previous LUT with proof of shipments is to be submitted in the prescribed format i.e.(in Annexure-63 of CBEC Manual) in respect of goods exported against earlier LUT. 5. Copy of Central Excise Registration Certificate to be enclosed. 5. Copy of the Import Export Code issued by DGFT to be enclosed. 6. Copy of VAT Registration (TIN No. / CSI' No.) to be enclosed. 7. Copy of identity proofs of authorized signatory (Self attested). 8. Copy of the Board's resolution designating the Authorized signatory to sign on the relevant documents. (G.V.
