Attention Of all the members of the trade is invited to the alternate forum available for settlement of disputes in an expeditious manner to the trade and industry, if they so desire. 2. All the assesses who have been served Show Cause Notices which are pending at various stages of Adjudication have the option of approaching the Settlement Commission for settlement of their case(s) in terms of the provisions contained under Chapter V of the Central Excise Act, 1944/ Chapter XIVA of the Customs Act, 1962/ Chapter V of the Central Excise Act, 1944 which is made applicable by Section 83 of Finance Act, 1994 to the service tax matters, subject to fulfillment of the conditions contained in the respective Acts. 3. All the Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce Industries, Members of Regional Advisory Committees and all other stakeholders under the jurisdiction of Bhopal Zone are requested to bring the contents of the Public Notice to the knowledge of their members and other concerned persons immediately. 4.
