Date: 25.01.2016 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 04/2016-CUS. Sub: Procedure for online clearance of goods to Special Economic Zone - reg. Attention of the Exporters, Importers, Customs Brokers, Members of Trade, Stake Holders and Public is invited to the procedure being followed for clearance of SEZ imports. In place of manual clearance procedure being followed till now, the following procedure may be followed w.e.f.l I .01.2016 for clearance of SEZ cargo in EDI. I. Filing of IGM for vessel: While filing IGM, Cargo Movement has following three options: LC - Local Cargo TI - Transhipment ICI) TC- Transhipment Cargo IGM may be filed at Krishnapatnam Custom House by mentioning Cargo Movement as TI and mentioning SEZ code at Destination Port. For eg. for Sricity SEZ, Destination Port is INTAS6, and for APIIC SEZ, Prakasham District, Destination Port is INBMA6. 2. Assessment of Bill of Entry at SEZ: Authorized officer at SEZ processes Bill of Entry by mentioning gateway port as Krishnapatnam Custom House with port code as INKRII. The data is transmitted from SEZ online to ICES. 3. After Entry inward is granted by Preventive Officer (PO) for the vessel, Customs Broker has to approach Assistant or Deputy Commissioner in charge of Transhipment for processing the SF.Z bill. 4. AC Transhipment (ACT) gives SEZ Transhipment Approval in ICES. For this, he has to enter destination code, BE number and date. Data will be populated automatically as transmitted from SEZ online. 5. Preventive Officer gives permission for SEZ goods release using GAT role in EDI. First, Approve Request is given and then Print Permit Order is given. Preventive Officer may sign Permit Order. The container number and seal number should be matched with original SEZ BE. As container numbers and seal numbers are not printed on Permit Order, the same may be endorsed by Preventive Officer behind the permit order along with seal numbers or separate copy may be attached for this purpose. 6. Based on printed copy of permit order Preventive Officer may allow goods to be taken to SEZ. (S. K. RAHMAN) COMMISSIONER
