Attention of all exporters, Custom House Agents and the Members of the Trade is invited to this office Public Notice No. 06/2018 dated 9.02.2018 whereby e-SANCHIT facility was extended to all ports under the jurisdiction of this Commissionerate on a voluntary basis. 2. It has been decided to implement e-SANCHIT facility mandatorily at all EDI locations under the jurisdiction of this Commissionerate with effect from 1st of April, 2018. No physical document will be accepted from 1st April, 2018 and system would simply disallow the filing of a bill of entry unless it is filed with the IRN Nos. evidencing that supporting documents have been first uploaded using e-SANCHIT. 3. Step by step procedure to upload supporting documents with digital signatures at eSANCHIT and a list of FAQ's is also available at http://www.icegate.gov.in/eSANCHIT.html on ICEGATE website. All the Trade Associations / Chambers of Commerce / members of Regional Advisory Committee, Customs House Brokers Association are requested to widely publicise the contents of this notice amongst their members / constituents.
