Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park as Custodian of the Imported goods. The area admeasuring 29.8 Hectors of Container Freight Station M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park located at Container Freight Station, village- Bhendkal, Sector-10, Dronagiri Node, Taluka-Uran, Dist.-Raigad, Maharashtra, Navi Mumbai-400707 was declared as Customs Area under section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification no. 13/2009 dated 09.07.2009 03/2007 dated 09.04.2007, and M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park was appointed as Custodian and the Customs Cargo Service Provider vide notification No.04/2007 dated 09.04.2007 for 5 years under section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 which was then extended till 14.03.2015 vide notification no.06/2010 dated 15.03.2010. The same was further extended for 5 years from 15.03.2015 vide notification no. 14/2014 dated 07.11.2014 under section 45(1) 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and regulation 10 of the HCCA Regulations, 2009. 2. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 45(1) and 141 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH, hereby renew the appointment of M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park as Custodian of the Imported goods received at their Container Freight Station M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park for an area admeasuring approximately 29.8 Hectors until these are cleared for home consumption or are warehoused or are transshipped in accordance with the provision of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. Similarly, 29.8 Hectors will also be the Custodian of the Export Cargo brought into said Container Freight Station, for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port. 3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations 2009 , I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH, hereby renew the approval of M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park as a Customs Cargo Services Provider for the above mentioned Container Freight Station, subject to following conditions: i. The Custodian M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park, approved as Customs Cargo Services Provider for the said CFS shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, the rules under the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 , and other regulations, notifications, orders issued there under. ii. The duration of appointment of M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation, Logistic Park as Custodian and as the Customs Cargo Service Provider shall remain valid for a period of five (05) years from 15.03.2020. iii. The Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH shall have the Right to review the approval as Customs Cargo Services Provider before the completion of five years for failure to comply with any of the Regulations of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 or as per the directions of the Government of India.
