It has been brought to the Board's notice that claims for refund under Rule 57(F)(3) are not being finalised expeditiously thereby blocking large sums of money of the exporters. Board desires that suitable instructions should be issued to all concerned to ensure that these refund claims are disposed of expeditiously. 2. It has also been decided to monitor the progress of all such pending refund claims to the Board's office. You are, therefore, requested to furnish a quarterly report to the undersigned at the end of every quarter, giving details of the refund claims under Rule 57(F)(3) pending in your collectorate, in the enclosed proforma.
