CFSs and all other stakeholders is invited to Public Notice No. 11/2020 dated 07.04.2020 issued by this office wherein it was informed that the time limits In respect of filing of refund application, Drawback, Exports, Application for Drawback under Section 74, filing of Appeals, issuance of Show cause/Demand Notices, renewal of licenses and all such actions/compliances In respect of which the last date falls in the period between 20.03.2020 and 29.06.2020 stands extended till 30.06.2020. 2. In this regard, Government of India Notification dated 27.06.2020 (issued vide the Gazette of India, extraordinary, part Il, Section 3 sub section (i)), wherein it specifies that,- (i) the 29th day of September, 2020 shall be the end date of period during which the time limit specified in, or prescribed or notified under, the Customs Act, 1962 or Customs Tariff Act, 1975 falls for the completion or compliance of such action as specified under (a) or (b) of the said section; and (ii) the 30 day of September, 2020 shall be the end date to which the time limit for completion or compliance of such action shall stand extended. 3. Accordingly, the time limits In respect of filing of refund application. Drawback, Exports, Application for Drawback under Section 74, filing of Appeals, issuance of Show cause/Demand Notices, renewal of licenses and all such actions/compliances In respect of which the last date falls in the period between 20.03.020 and 29.09.2020 stands extended till 30.09.2020. 4. All the Importers /Exporters/Trade are advised to make use of this facility. Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as standing order for the purpose of officers and staff.
