Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Custom Brokers, Shipping Lines/Agents and all other Stakeholders is invited to ICES Advisory 25/2020 on the above subject which introduces following changes for facilitating Importers/Exporters. 2. Bank Account Management : In order to allow the exporters to make an online request for registration/modification of their AD Code/ Bank Account(s) for purposes of remittances and availing export benefits respectively, a functionality has been enabled in the ICEGATE login by the DG Systems, Delhi consistent with the Board's Circular No. 32/2020 dated 06.07.2020. It will do away with the necessary requirement for exporters to physically visit the Customs offices and submit manual documents for this purpose. The new functionality seeks to enhance Trade Facilitation as well as improve the efficiency of the Customs processes. The detailed step-by-step guide for the exporter is available on the ICEGATE portal at https:/iwww.icegate.gov.in/Download [Bank_Account_Management_Advisory.pdf. Once the request for modification of bank account is submitted by the exporter through his ICEGATE login, the same will be available in the existing CLK role vide Bank Account Approval option made available to the Customs officer in the ICES. The Customs officer can view the supporting documents (Passbook copy/Bank Authorization Letter or any other document) uploaded by the exporter through view of e-Sanchit documents for decision (approval or rejection). The facility can be availed by exporter with his ICEGATE login id. 3. Simplified ICEGATE registration : A simplified registration facility is available for imports/exporters which will provide ICEGATF login credentials. All functional importers/exporters in your jurisdiction may be advised to avail the benefit of simplified registration on ICEGATE (ref advisory available at link, https:/www.icegate.gov.in/Download/Advisory_for_/simplified_%20Registration_at_ vI.pdf Registration on ICEGATE portal will help importers/exporters to avail various Trade Facilitation functionalities and enquiries enabled on the ICEGATVZ portal from time to time including the subject one. 4. Turant Suvidhn Kendra (TSK) : The above Board's circular has also extended the setting up of the Turant Suvidha Kendras pan India as provided for faceless assessment procedure laid out in Circular No.28/2020-Customs, dated 05.06.2020. A new role TSK_OFF is already available in ICES for assisting the Turant Suvidha Kendra (T SK) officers to execute designated tasks in System. This role can be used for Bond Registration, Bond Debit and Defacement of supporting documents, wherever required. While all the supporting documents will be available in System for the TSK officer to check, it may be ensured that the physical copies are seen only for those documents where defacement is desired, like Country of Origin Certificates. The TSK officer can select such document in the System to see what has been uploaded by the importer in e-Sanchit and mark it as defaced in System after verifying and defacing the original paper copy. Once in the database of the System, the defacement confirmation will be available to OOC officer. The above changes have already been implemented in the System. 5. All trade associations/members of Customs Brokers Association are requested to take note and publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents. 6. For the departmental officers, this may be treated as Standing Order. 7. Difficulties, if any, may be brought to the notice of Additional Commissioner of Customs (Technical), ICD (Import), TKD, New Delhi. 8.
