Kind attention of Airlines, Console Agents, Importers, Customs House Agents, Custodians of imported goods, officers of Customs and all others concerned is invited to the minutes of the Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee (PTFC) meeting held on 28.03.2023. Currently, the Gate Pass issued by the custodian (AAICLASS) is being physically signed by the Gate Preventive Officers (Customs) before allowing the actual movement of the imported goods out of the customs premises. 2. In order to facilitate and expedite customs clearance process and making it more paperless, it has been decided that: i. the endorsement of Gate Preventive Officer on the Gate Pass is done away with. i. the Gate PO will remain posted in Gates to ensure preventive mechanism at the gate premises.
