CFS, No. 32, Sathangadu village, Manali, Chennai-600068 as Customs Area for handling of Export Cargo - Reg. ***** Attention of the Steamer Agents, Importers, Exporters and their representatives (Custom House Brokers) is invited to this Custom House Public Notice No. 149/2000 dated 15.05.2000 declaring the premises of M/s. Balmer Lawrie Co. Ltd. CFS at No. 32, Sathangadu village, Manali, Chennai-600068 as Customs Area under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 and as Custodian vide Public Notice No. 148/2000 dated 19.04.2000 under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 for handling of both Import and Export cargo and Public Notice No. 140/2012 dated 18.06.2012 including an additional area of 12.58 Acres for handling of FCL import cargo. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, K.S.V.V.Prasad, Commissioner of Customs, Chennai-IV hereby declare the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Warehouse measuring an area of 20,000 Sq. Ft. located in the premises of M/s. Balmer Lawrie Co. Ltd. CFS, No. 32, Sathangadu village, Manali, Chennai-600068 as Customs Area for handling of Export Cargo. The Google location of the said PEB Warehouse with its GPS co-ordinates is enclosed to this Public Notice. The procedures for dealing with export cargo are to be followed as laid down in Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009 and as laid down in the Public Notices issued in this regard by this Customs House from time to time.
