Attention is invited to Board's Circular No. 07/2020-Customs dated 05.02.2020 issued from F. No. 467/34/2006-Cus. V. The Board has issued guidelines related to valuation of second hand machinery. As per para 5 of the said circular, each Custom House has been directed to empanel Chartered Engineers as per the requirements provided in the said circular for the purpose of appraisement/inspection of second hand machinery. 2. Accordingly, application from interested Chartered Engineers who possess qualification for appraisement/inspection of second hand machinery and certified as such by the Institute of Chartered Engineers are invited for empanelment for Appraisement/Inspection of second hand machinery imported at Custom House, Kandla as per CBIC Circular No. 07/2020- Customs dated 05.02.2020. The applicants may submit their application on the above mentioned address or through e-mail at [email protected] along with required qualification as per the said Circular.
