Madam/ Sir, Kind reference is invited to CBDT s letter of even number dated 4th March, 2013 on the above subject (copy enclosed). 2. In this regard, the undersigned is directed to draw your kind attention to the relevant portion of paragraph 3 of the above mentioned letter which is reproduced as under: On receipt of the orders, the CsIT (DR) should send their brief comments on the acceptability of the order along-with their suggestions on the further course of action. The CsIT (DR) should also report to the CCIT/DGIT concerned as to whether their written and oral submissions were considered in the order. The orders passed by the Commission need to be examined by the CsIT concerned carefully in the light of statutory provisions and the discussion supra and wherever necessary remedial measures should be taken without any delay including by way of filing of Writ Petitions before the Hon ble High Courts. 3. It is however, seen that no reports by CslT (DR) are being sent to respective CCslT/CslT. 4. I am directed to reiterate the above instruction regarding submission of the report by CslT (DR) and to state that non compliance will be seriously viewed. It has further been decided that henceforth, a monthly report as per enclosed format [Annexure-A] shall be Board latest by 5th of every month beginning from August, 2013 5.
