Kind reference is invited to the above mentioned subject. 2. It has come to the notice of the Board that the registered users of FINnet in DGsIT (lnv.) offices are not regularly accessing FINnet for STR download / acceptance on the two nodes provided for the same by FIU-IND. In this connection, the undersigned is directed to reiterate that each DGIT(Inv.) has been allotted 2 registered nodes for onward dissemination / download of STRs. A list of the current registered users along with their registered mail-ids is enclosed herewith for ready reference. A copy of earlier communication of CBDT in this regard dated 05.06.2015 is also enclosed herewith. 3. In view of the huge pendency of STRs for download by the registered users, it is requested that necessary directions may kindly be issued to the registered users to regularly access both the FINnet nodes and accept / download STRs regularly for further necessary action thereon. 4. It is further requested that since it seems many registered users are not aware about the existence of a second node of FINnet, the DGsIT (Inv.) may ensure that details thereof, viz, mail id and user login id and password for accessing both the nodes of FINnet may invariably, be made part of the handing over note on change of the incumbent registered user. 5. Any change in registered user may kindly be brought to the notice of the undersigned and request for nomination / change of the user may kindly be sent in the prescribed format forthwith.
