Tel: 0461 2352655, Email: - [email protected] e-office File No. CUS/AG/PN/4/2025-POL Date : 11-04-2025 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 17/2025 Sub : Reconfiguration of Trichy Zone Site (INKAR6) and rolling out of NTUT1 as master site and INTUT6 as child site for Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate on 14.04.2025 (Monday) -Reg. ********** All Authorized Sea Carriers (ASC), Authorized Sea Agents (ASA), other entities/stakeholders and member of the Trade under the jurisdiction of Custom House, New Harbour Estate, Tuticorin, are hereby informed that the Trichy zone sites are at present consolidated under a single master location, INKAR6, and INTUT1 and INTUT6 are clustered with INKAR6. 2. With an objective to enhance administrative efficiency, the DG Systems (ICES), New Delhi intent to separate INTUT1 and INTUT6 from INKAR6 and to operationalize the above said proposal, ADDG, DG Systems had informed this office that during the reconfiguration activity there will be complete shutdown of Tuticorin Port and the outage will affect the trade for approximately 6-8 hours or even more. 3. For changing the site INTUT1 and INTUT6, the roles assigned to the officers under the above said Customs site will be removed. After reconfiguration of the sites, the officers will be remapped to the master site INTUT1 and child INTUT6. During the interregnum period, none of the officers role will be active in INTUT1 and INTUT6. 4. This is for kind information and necessary action. 5. Hindi Version follows.
