F.No. 467/17/2003-Cus. V Dated 7-5-2003 Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Central Board of Excise Customs, New Delhi Subject : Fake Notification No. 30/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 6-5-2003 revising tariff value of Crude Soyabean Oil - Regarding. It has come to the notice of the Board that a fake Notification No. 30/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 6-5-2003 reducing the tariff value on Crude Soyabean Oil from US $ 600 PMT to US $ 530 PMT has been published on some private websites (www.agriwatch.com). It is hereby clarified that the above said notification is a fake one and, therefore, should not be given effect to and shall be ignored. Notification No. 30/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 25-4-2003 relates to exchange rates for currencies on imported goods, which has already been published in the Gazette. The officers should give effect to the notifications published in the Departmental website www.cbec.gov.in and www.taxindiaonline.com only. It is further clarified that the last notification issued in respect of tariff value is the one having No. 15/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 25th February, 2003, under signature of the undersigned. All the officers in your jurisdiction may be suitably alerted.
