OF NCT OF DELHI DEPARTMENT OF TRADE TAXES BIKRIKAR BHAWAN : NEW DELHI No.F.III/59/CST/2005/ESTT/Pt.File/8300-08 Dated : 27/10/2005 CIRCULAR In continuation of Office circular of even No. dated 01-04-2005, the VAT (Audit) functions heather-to being looked after by Audit and Enforcement Branch is transferred to concerned VATOs, AVATOs and VATIs of the Wards under the supervision of Zonal JCs/DCs concerned. This arrangement is being made keeping in view the shortage of staff as the department has to operate two systems i.e. old DST and new VAT. The necessary approval, co-ordination and relevant instructions will be issued by VAT (Audit) Branch and Audit strategy and selection will also be decided by VAT (Audit) Branch under the supervision of DC/JC/ACST, VAT (Audit) This issues with the approval of Commissioner, Trade Taxes.
