ESTATE, NEW DELHI Dated : 06/03/07 CIRCULAR NO. 14 OF 2006-07 Sub: Issuance of Statutory Forms by the Operational Units Instructions were earlier issued vide circular No. 7 of 2006-07 dated 21.08.2006 for issuance of Statutory Forms by the operational units on four week days (i.e. Except on Tuesday). Now, it has been observed that the disposal of other routine works like disposal of refund claims, scrutiny of returns, granting of new registrations, amendment/cancellation of existing registration, default assessments etc. is getting hampered due to insufficient time being allocated for disposal of these activities, which is felt to be on account of issuance of Statutory/Declaration Forms on four week days. Thus, it has been decided that the applications for issuance of forms shall be entertained by all operational units on three days a week i.e. on Monday, Wednesday Friday and that too upto 1.00 P.M. All other instructions/guidelines of the circular No. 7 of 2006-07 dated 21.08.2006 shall remain unchanged. This issues with the prior approval of the Commissioner, VAT. (G.D.
