Shifting of OLTAS Instruction No. 31 query and some reports on BCP (Business Continuity Processing) server - matter regarding- OLTAS INSTRUCTION NO. 34, Dated: 19.02.09 The CCsIT/CsIT/Addl. CsIT/Assessing Officers have been viewing tax collection including outstation payments and e-payments through the OLTAS Instruction No. 31 query in TAS module. 2. It was brought to the notice of this Directorate that the execution time of this query has increased substantially. The matter has been analysed and it was found that many users are accessing the PDC database simultaneously due to which CPU utilization at times was reaching its maximum leading to delay in execution of query. 3. In order to sort out this issue, the queries related to OLTAS Instruction No. 31 have now been shifted to BCP server. As such in order to run the OLTAS 31 query the officer has to login into the BCP server whose url is https://itdbcp.incometax.net . 4. The login screen has also been modified and at the time of login the system gives the message "Some Queries and Reports have been disabled from Main Menu. The same can be accessed from URL as https://itdbcp.incometax.net ". A copy of the screen shot is enclosed for ready reference. 5. It is requested to circulate this instruction up to Assessing officers level so that they can view their collection through OLTAS 31 menu option.
