MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 06 March, 2012 S.O. 388(E) - Whereas, M/s. Manyata Promoters Private Limited, a private organisation, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services (which includes now - electronic hardware and software also) at Villages Rachenahalli, Nagavara and Tanisandra, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , had notified an area of 22.34 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1980 (E), dated 16th November, 2006; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Manyata Promoters Private Limited had proposed for addition of 1.8600 hectares and denotification of 3.0980 hectares in above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 3rd May, 2007; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Manyata Promoters Private Limited has also proposed for addition of 5.0917 hectares to above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 6th April, 2011; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby denotifies an area of 3.0980 hectares and notifies areas of 1.8600 hectares and 5.0917 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 26.2016 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE (Area is in hectares) S.
