Notification No. 31 Dated 02-04-1960 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (8 of 1878), as in force in India and as applied to the State of Pondicherry and in supersession of the notification No. 102-Customs, dated the 9 th September, 1950, the central Board of Revenue hereby declares the places situated in each of the Districts of the Bombay State specified in the first column and named in the second column of the Schedule annexed hereto within the jurisdiction of the 1 [Commissioner] of central Excise, Baroda, to be ports for carrying on of Coasting Trade with Customs ports and for no other purpose.
