Modification of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 93-Customs, dated the 13th November, 1971 - 5/85 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 5/85 Dated 07/01/1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11N of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in partial modification of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 93-Customs, dated the 13 th November, 1971 , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts zip fasteners and parts thereof notified under section 11B of the said Act , from the provisions of sections 11C , 11D , 11E and 11F of the said Act where such zip fasteners and parts thereof are utilised by the person owning, possessing or controlling the said zip fasteners and parts thereof, in , or in relation to, or for the purpose of, manufacture of any goods including dyeing, tailoring and repairing.
