Amendments in Notification No. 214 (E) dated 29th March 1993 - S.O. 226 (E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION NO. 9499 New Delhi, the 16 th March, 1994 S.O. 226 (E) :-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (ii) of the explanation to Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, (43 of 1961) , the Central Government hereby amends Notification No. 214 (E) dated 29 th March, 1993 published in Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) of the Gazette of India (Extra-ordinary) as follows, namely :- In the table to the said notification, against Serial No. 5 for the existing entries, the following shall be substituted, namely :- 5. Bharat Sevashram Sangh, 211, Rash Behari Avenue, Calcutta-19. (i) Bharat Sevashram Sangha Swami Prana Vananda Centenary Shikshuyatan likely to cost ₹ 226.89 lakhs for promoting education of Tea garden labourers and backward children in Rajganj area, Jalpaiguri Distt. West Bengal. (ii) Bharat Sevashram Sangha Medical aid Programmes in Assam, Nagaland and West Bengal likely to cost ₹ 92 lakhs through mobile charitable dispensaries in rural areas of West Bengal, Nagaland and Assam .
