Amendment in Notification No. S.O. 602(E) dated 12th August 1993 - S.O. 524(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION DATED 14-7-1994 S.O. 524(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Government, on die recommendation of the National Committee, hereby amends the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) S.O. 602(E) dated 12th August. 1993 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, in Part II section 3, sub-section (ii) as follows, namely:- In the said notification- (a) in the table- (i) against serial number 1 in column 4 relating to the maximum cost for which a project or scheme is approved for the letters and figures Rs. 4,76,226 the letters, figures and words Rs. 6.80 lakhs shall be substituted. (ii) against serial number 3 in column 4 relating to the maximum cost for which a project or scheme is approved for the letters, figures and words Rs. 5.5 crore the letters , figures and words Rs. 17.57 crore shall be substituted; (b) In the last notification shall remain in force and ending with the words and figures serial numbers 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 the following shall be substituted namely:- This notification shall remain in force for a period of one year in relation to assessment year 1994-95 in respect of projects mentioned at serial number 9 and for a period of two years in relation to assessment years 1994-95 and 1995-96 in respect of projects mentioned at serial number 1 and 12 and for a period of three years in relation to assessment years 1994-95, 1995-96 and 1996-97 in respect of projects mentioned at serial numbers 2, 3, 4. 5, 6, 7 8, 10 and 11.
