O. 585(E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iii) of clause (17) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following rectification in the notification S.O. No. 695(E) issued by Central Board of Direct Taxes in F. No. 200/134/93-ITA-I dated 3 rd October, 1997 which was issued notifying Constituency Allowance received by the members of Madhya Pradesh State Legislature to the extent of Rupees two thousand only per month for the purpose of the said sub-clause.
