Notification under section 4(2) of the HGST Act of 2017 for the purpose of tax administration the State shall be divided into five ranges comprising the districts. - 32/ST-2 - Haryana SGSTExtract HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 30th June, 2017 No. 32/ST-2 -- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-Section (2) of Section 4 , of the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Act No.19 of 2017) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana hereby orders that the Commissioner shall superintend the administration and collection of tax leviable under the Act and that for the purpose of tax administration the State shall be divided into the following five ranges comprising the districts as mentioned against each, namely: TABLE Sr. No. Range Name of the districts comprising the Range 1 2 3 1 Ambala Panchkula, Ambala Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal 2 Faridabad Faridabad (East), Faridabad (West), Faridabad (North), Faridabad (South) and Palwal 3 Gurugram Gurugram (East), Gurugram (West), Gurugram (North), Gurugram (South) and Mewat 4 Hisar Hisar, Jind, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Bhiwani 5 Rohtak Rohtak, Panipat, Sonipat, Rewari, Narnaul and Jhajjar Each range shall be headed by a Joint Commissioner of State Tax, each district by a Deputy Commissioner of the State Tax and each circle by an Excise and Taxation Officer or an Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer of State Tax, as the case may be.
