GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 22nd June, 2017 No. FTX.90/2016/64. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Assam Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act. No. XXVIII of 2017) , the Governor of Assam is hereby pleased to appoint the 22 nd day June, 2017, as the date on which the provisions of section 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 10 , 22 , 23 , 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 , 30 , 139 , 146 and 164 of the said Act shall come into force.
