MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd March, 2016 No. 11 (5) /2009-DBA-II/NER - The Government of India hereby makes the following amendments in the Government of India Notification No. 11(5)/2009-DBA-II/NER dated the 22nd January, 2013 called the Freight Subsidy Scheme, 2013. 2. In place of existing clause 10(2) of Government of India Notification No. 11(5)/2009-DBA-II/NER dated the 22nd January, 2013 , the following shall be substituted: 10. Role and functions of the State Government/Union Territory Administration under the scheme- - (2) The State Govt./Union Territory Administration concerned shall set up a State Level Committee (SLC), consisting of the Principal Secretary/Secretary(Industry Department of the State Govt. Union Territory concerned), Director of Industries of the State/ Union Territory concerned and a representative each from the Finance Department of the State/Union Territory concerned, Excise and Taxation Department of the State/Union Territory concerned (Excise Commissioner), Transport Department of the State/ Union Territory concerned, nodal agency concerned and Department of Industrial Policy Promotion, GOI to consider and recommend all subsidy claims, under the scheme, arising in the State/Union Territory.
