Notifies the date from which E-Way Bill Rules shall come into force. - FTX.56/2017/229 - Assam SGST

GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 5 th May, 2018 No. FTX.56/2017/229.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XXVIII of 2017), the Governor of Assam, hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 2018, as the date from which the provisions of rule 2 [other than sub-rule (7)], 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Notification No. FTX.56/2017/Pt-III/93 dated the 3rd May, 2018, issued by the Government of Assam, in the Finance (Taxation) Department and published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide No.206 dated the 4th May, 2018, shall come into force.
