Amendment in Notification No. 229(E), dated 17th March, 1994 NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.613 ( E ) DATED 23-8-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause ( b ) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government, on the recommendations of the National Committee, hereby specifies the eligible project and scheme to be undertaken by Swagat Medical and Educational Centre, a company specified in column (2) against serial number 1 of the Table in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), vide S.O. No. 229(E), dated 17th March, 1994, for a further period of one year in relation to the assessment year 1996-97 at the estimated cost as mentioned against it in the corresponding column (3) of the Table in the said notification and amends the said notification as under : 1. (i) In the said notification, after the Table, in the last paragraph, for the words "two years", the words "three years" shall be substituted. (ii) for the word and figures "and 1995-96", the word and figures "1995-96 and 1996-97" shall be substituted.
