Amendment in Multi-State Co-operative Societies Rules, 2002, - G.S.R. 567(E) - Trust and Society

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE (Department of Agriculture and Co-operation and Farmers Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12 th June, 2018 G.S.R. 567(E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 124 of the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 (39 of 2002) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Rules, 2002 , namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Rules, 2002 , in rule 25 , in sub-rule (3), after the words a separate account , the words to be operated jointly by the Chief Executive of the National Co-operative Union of India Limited, New Delhi and an officer of the Central Government not below the rank of Director responsible for finance in the Department of Agriculture, Co-operation and Farmers Welfare authorized by the Central Government, shall be inserted.
