SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 8th June, 2017 SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA (ISSUE AND LISTING OF DEBT SECURITIES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2017 No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2017-18/009.- In exercise of the powers conferred under section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) the Board hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008, namely, 1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) (Amendment) Regulations, 2017. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 3. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008, (I) In Regulation 20A, (1) after the words and symbol, debt securities, and before the words subject to the following words and symbol shall be inserted, namely,- in the manner as may be specified by the Board from time to time, (2) for clause (a) the following clause shall be substituted, namely,- (a) the articles of association of the issuer shall not have any provision, whether express or implied, contrary to such consolidation and re-issuance; (II) After Regulation 20A and before Regulation 21, the following regulation shall be inserted, namely,- International Securities Identification Number. 20B. Any issuer issuing debt securities on private placement basis, shall comply with the conditions relating to the issue of International Securities Identification Number, as may be specified by the Board from time to time.
