SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 14th February, 2000 S.O. No.122(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1) of Section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Securities and Exchange Board of India hereby makes the following regulations, namely: - 1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 3. Sub - regulation (2) of regulation 2 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999shall be substituted by the following: (2) In these regulations the expression collective Investment scheme shall have the same meaning as assigned to it under Section 11 AA of the Act .
