Modification of Notification No. 229/2001 dated 31st July, 2001, - 256/2001 (S.O.846(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) CORRIGENDUM New Delhi, the 30th August, 2001 S.O.846(E).- In partial modification of Notification No. 229/2001 dated 31st July, 2001 , issued from F. No. 187/6/2001-ITA.I, the following amendments are ordered: (1) At Sr. No. 28 of column No. 4, entry at No. (iii) Commissioner of Income tax, Chennai XI shall be deleted. (2) At Sr. No. 42 of column No. 3, the word Kolhapur be replaced by the word Thane . (3) At Sr. No. 67 of column No. 3, the word Kolkata be replaced by the word Jalpaiguri . (4) At Sr. No. 68 of column No. 3, the word Kolkata be replaced by the word Durgapur . The other contents of the notification shall remain unchanged. [Notification No. 256/2001/F.
