Central Government de-notifies an area of 0.15 hectares making the resultant area as 9.85 hectares, at KIADB, Industrial Area, Taluka Hebbel-Hootagally, District Mysore in the State of Karnataka - S.O. 566(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th January, 2020 S.O. 566(E).- Whereas, M/s. Larsen Toubro Limited had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at KIADB, Industrial Area, Taluka Hebbel-Hootagally, District Mysore in the State of Karnataka; And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , notified an area of 10 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 2343(E) dated 27th September, 2010; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Larsen Toubro Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 0.15 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Karnataka has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. CI 29 SPI 2018 dated 16.07.2019; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Cochin, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 0.15 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.15 hectares , thereby making the resultant area as 9.85 hectares, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA Sl.
