Amendment in Export Policy of Diagnostic Kits - 59/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) , as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export Policy related to export of Diagnostic Kits, with immediate effect: S. No. ITC HS Codes Description Present Policy Revised Policy 207 G 3822 1 [ VTM kits and reagents RNA extraction kits and reagents RT-PCR kits and reagents ] Free Restricted 2. The provision under Para 1.05(b) of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement will not be applicable for this notification. 3. Effect of this Notification: The export of Diagnostic Kits [Diagnostic or laboratory reagents on a backing, preparation diagnostic or laboratory reagents whether or not on a backing, other than those of heading 3002 or 3006; certified reference materials] falling under any ITCHS Code, including the ITCHS Code mentioned above, is restricted, with immediate effect.
