Central Board of Direct Taxes approves the CBCI Society for Medical Education, St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, John Nagara, Bangalore u/s 10(23C)(vi) NOTIFICATION NO. 11029 DATED 17-8-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-clause ( vi ) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), read with rule 2CA of the Income-tax Rules, 1962, the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby approves the "CBCI Society for Medical Education, St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, John Nagara, Bangalore" for the purpose of the said section for the assessment years 1999-2000 to 2001-2002 : Provided that the society conforms to and complies with the provisions of sub-clause ( iv ) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, read with rule 2CA of the Income-tax Rules, 1962.
