Amendment in Export Policy of Human Embryos - 11/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. 1860 (E). - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , the Central Government hereby, amends the export policy of Human Embryos under Chapter 5 of ITC (HS), 2018, Schedule -2 (Export Policy) 4. New entry at Serial No. 49A is inserted in Chapter 5 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, as under: S. No Tariff Item HS Code Item Description Export Policy Policy Conditions 49A 0511 99 99 Human Embryos/ Gametes/ Gonad tissues Free Subject to No Objection Certificate from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) 5. Effect of this Notification: Human Embryos / Gametes/ Gonad tissues are Free for export subject to No Objection Certificate from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
