MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE) NOTIFICATION NO. 2/2015-2020 New Delhi, the 26th April, 2021 Subject : Amendment in import policy and incorporation of a Policy Condition under HS Code 85167920 and 85167990 of Chapter-85 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Policy). S.O. 1699(E).- In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and 5 of FT (D R) Act, 1992 , read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy of items under EXIM Code 85167920 and 85167990 of chapter 85 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule I (Import Policy) . HS Code Description Existing Import Policy Existing policy condition Amended Policy Condition 85167920 Electrical or electronic devices for repelling insects (for example, mosquitoes or other similar kind of insects) Free -- Import of mosquito killer racket is prohibited if C.I.F value is below ₹ 121/- per racket 85167990 Others Free -- Import of mosquito killer racket is prohibited if C.I.F value is below ₹ 121/- per racket 2. Effect of the Notification: Import policy of mosquito killer racket under HS Codes 85167920 and 85167990 is revised from Free to Prohibited if C.I.F value is below ₹ 121/per racket.
