Central Government de-notifies an area of 1.593 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 8.82 hectare at Sarpavaram Village, Kakinada Rural East Godavari District in the State of Andhra Pradesh - S.O. 4247(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th October, 2021 S.O. 4247(E). -Whereas, M/s. Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited, a Government Organisation in the State of Andhra Pradesh, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Sarpavaram Village, Kakinada Rural East Godavari District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , notified an area of 10.413 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.63(E) dated 9 th January, 2008 ; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 1.593 hectare from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. ITC01-IT0PROM(ITPR)/122/2019-PROMOTIONS dated 27th November, 2020; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 1.593 hectare of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.593 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 8.82 hectare, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely: - TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA S.
