Amendment in Notification No. FTX.56/2017/14 dated the 29th June, 2017 - 1/2020-STATE TAX (RATE) - Assam SGST

GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION No. 1/2020-STATE TAX (RATE) The 22nd April, 2020 No. FTX.56/2017/Pt-II/429 .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XXVIII of 2017), the Governor of Assam, on the recommendations of the Council, is hereby pleased to makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Finance (Taxation) Department, Government of Assam No. FTX.56/2017/14 dated the 29th June, 2017 (Notification No. 1), published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide number 335, dated the 29th June, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, - (a) in Schedule II - 6%, S. No. 242 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) in Schedule IV - 14%, for S. No. 228 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely: - 228. Any chapter Lottery . This notification shall be deemed to have been issued on 21st day of February, 2020 and come into force on the 1 day of March, 2020.
