Central Government notified and de-notified some areas at Special Economic Zone in the State of Andhra Pradesh. - S.O. 6190 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) ( SEZ Division) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th December, 2022 S.O. 6190 (E). -Whereas, M/s. Sri City Pvt. Ltd. (formerly M/s. Satyavedu Reserve Infracity Private Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Multi-Product Special Economic Zone at Chengambakkam, Appaiahpalem, Gollavaripalem, Mallavaripalem, Aroor, Moporapalle and Cherivi Villages, Satyavedu and Vardayya Palem Mandals in the State of Andhra Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified and de-notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below: - Sl. Sri City Pvt. Ltd. has now proposed for de-notification of 298.193 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. INC01-IND0PNC(SEZ)/1/2019-INFRA dated 14.10.2022; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Sri City, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 298.193 hectares of the Special Economic Zone. Further, after the proposed de-notification, the land will be utilized for domestic industrial use and to provide infrastructure like Roads, utilities etc.; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 298.193 hectares, thereby making the resultant area as 337.024 hectares, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely: - TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA [F.
