Amendment in Notification S.O. 1205 (E) dated 23rd May, 2008 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi the 18th September, 2008 S.O. 2232(E).— Whereas the proposal to affect the amendment in the notification of Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment S.O. 216 (E) dated 9th March, 2001 as published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3 Sub-section (ii), vide notification S.O. 1205 (E) dated 23rd May, 2008 of Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment, for information of and inviting objections/suggestions from all persons to be affected thereby , till the expiry of three months, from the date on which the copies of the said Gazette were made available to the public. AND whereas no objection or suggestion have been received on the said proposals by the Central Government within the said stipulated period; NOW, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by section 27 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the Central Government, after consulting the Advisory Board, hereby makes the following amendment ; namely: In the notification of Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment S.O. 216 (E) dated 9th March, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Part-II, Section 3 Sub-section (ii), of para 5, for the words "Employment of Watch and Ward through Private Security Services or directly by the Employer in all Public Sector Enterprises", the words "Employment of Watch and Ward" shall be substituted.
