MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th May, 2009 G.S.R. 339(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (mc) of sub-section (2) of Section 63 read with sub-section (1) of Section 53G of the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2009 , namely : - 1. Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and other Members) Amendment Rules, 2009. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2009 , in Rule 17 , - (i) in sub-rule (1), the words before the Minister-in-charge of Ministry of Corporate Affairs , shall be omitted: (ii) in sub-rule (2), the words before the Chairperson , shall be omitted.
