MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th May, 2011 G.S.R. 397(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (mc) of sub-section (2) of Section 63 read with sub-section (1) of Section 53G of the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2009 , namely : (1) These rules may be called the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson and other Members) Amendment Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2009 , in rule 5 , in sub-rule (1), (i) the brackets, figures and words (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-rule (2) , shall be omitted; (ii) in the proviso, for the words to received , the words to receive shall be substituted.
