MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th April, 2009 G.S.R. 260(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (mb) of sub-section (2) of Section 63 read with sub-section (2) of Section 53E of the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Term of the Selection Committee and the Manner of Selection of Panel of Names) Rules, 2008 , namely : - l. (1) These rules may be called the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Term of the Selection Committee and the Manner of Selection of Panel of Names) Amendment Rules, 2009. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2 In the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Term of the Selection Committee and the Manner of Selection of Panel of Names) Rules, 2008 , in sub-rule 4 of Rule 4 , for the words The Joint Secretary , the words An officer not below the level of Joint Secretary shall be substituted.
