No. 890/2024 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-rule (2) of rule 1 of the Kerala Goods and Services Tax (Third Amendment) Rules, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), the Government of Kerala hereby appoints the 8th day of October, 2024, as the date on which the provisions of clause (iv) and (v) of rule 2 and rule 3 of the said rules shall come into force. By order of the Governor, Dr. A. JAYATHILAK, Additional Chief Secretary to Government. Explanatory Note (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) On recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council, the Government have decided to notify the appointed date of the provisions related to biometric-based Aadhaar authentication of the said rules. The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
